English Bulldog

The Bulldog is a muscular heavy dog that has a wrinkled face and a distinctive pushed in nose. The Bulldog originated from England. Their average lifespan is 8-12 years and are very likely to have breathing problems. The leading cause of death is cardiac problems and then cancer. Statistics show that of the 467 bulldogs tested between 1979 and 2009 73.9% were affected by hip dysplasia. Their disposition is equable, resolute, kind, and courageous. They are good dogs to have if you are willing to take care of their health problems.
